Manifesto

What we believe

We believe creator tools shouldn't ask for an account, upload your files to the cloud, or track you to work. That compressing an image for Instagram shouldn't require trusting an unknown server. That converting an iPhone HEIC shouldn't mean handing your photos to a company. That adapting a video for TikTok should be possible without leaving your browser.

Why local processing

Most online image tools upload your photo to their server, process it there, and send the result back. Your file travels. What does that company do with it? How long does it keep it? Who sees it? You don't know. For a landscape maybe you don't care, but think about what we usually process: family photos, documents, screenshots with personal information, work content. We chose not to have that responsibility. We don't have servers that receive your files because we don't want to have them.

Real privacy, not promises

When we say your files don't leave your device, it's not a privacy policy — it's a technical reality. Our code runs in your browser. There's no endpoint to upload files to. No database to store them. No server to process them. The safest way to protect your data is not to have it, and that's exactly what we do.

Tools with soul

SocialShrink is made with care, not with haste. Every tool is designed to solve a real content creator problem: adapting images to multiple networks, converting incompatible formats, compressing video without losing quality. We do it without tricks, without mandatory accounts, without forced watermarks. And we do it from a small studio in Barcelona, not from a corporation with server farms.

Made with care, not with servers.
